This year, Jardín will once again host the 11th edition of the film festival, whose theme this year is “ECHOES OF SILENCED VOICES.”
The theme pays tribute to social leaders in Colombia whose rights have been violated. With a very interesting lineup of Colombian filmmakers, the festival aims to highlight the resistance efforts of leaders—both men and women—who have fought to uphold peace processes, protect territories and the environment, and advance community initiatives in our country.
The program features national and international films, panel discussions, gatherings, and high-level academic seminars, with the participation of the directors and some of the actors and lead performers from the films.
Film lovers will to enjoy around 20 short films, which will be screened simultaneously from Thursday, September 24, through Sunday, September 27.
