Café Primaveras
This café is one of our favorites because it is far from the main square and allows for more privacy. It also offers excellent quality coffee, the latte is one of the most recommended by our students. Their baked goods are very fresh and the cakes, especially the chocolate cake, are highly recommended. They offer refreshing breakfasts and drinks that you will want to enjoy with the mountain view from their large balcony. It is also located very close to the Hablea’s classroom.

Ambrosia Bread and Coffee Workshop
Undoubtedly one of our favorite cafes. For its variety in the bakery (cookies, cream cheese bread, bread with pesto, chocolate bread, bread with basil, and tomato), excellent service and fresh products. We recommend sandwiches and breakfasts. We also recommend their desserts (peach cake, banana cake and tiramisu).

Viewpoint Café: Yo amo Jardín
When you go up the hill of the cross walking through the La Salada trail, we recommend you to stop for a coffee at the viewpoint of YO AMO JARDIN, from there you can have a very special panoramic view of Jardín and enjoy a wide variety of bakery and beverages.
If you go by motorcycle cab (moto taxi) from town the cost is approximately 20,000 COP. Walking up the mountain can take 1 hour from the central square of Jardín.
La Reserva Café
A very cozy place where you can take shelter and relax while having a delicious coffee. You can also find breakfast and pastries (we recommend the alfajores and chocolate croissant).
It has a good internet connection and is a quiet place to meet and work remotely.

Macanas Café
Located in the main square of Jardín, Café Macanas is a very cozy and special place because of its architecture and its bakery and fruit drinks. Our recommendations in this place are the breakfasts and the ginger tea. Here you will find Jardin’s sweet products (jams and candies), as they are two places that belong to the same family. Its decoration in the backyard of the cafe with colorful materas will invite you to take many photos to remember.

Café Macanas (with balcony)
Located in the central square of Jardin, this is a very nice place and a must visit to taste an excellent coffee while watching the Jardin life from the balcony on the second floor. We recommend tasting the chocolate and almond cake. At the end of your stay you can bring one of the special coffees as a gift for your friends.

El Jardin del Jardin (Vegan and vegetarian option)
This place is a nursery and café located 5 minutes from the main square. Jardin del Jardin has very cozy spaces where you can spend a quiet time accompanied by all the plants that Andres takes care of with love. There you have good internet access and excellent service. We recommend trying their vegan smoothies and a delicious avocado dessert.
They currently sell vegetarian lunches.
Mil Colores Café
A very nice place, near the central square of Jardin where you can find a variety of ice cream and drinks. We recommend the yogurt ice cream (not found anywhere else) and the red fruit waffle.
Here you can find a photo exhibit of birds seen in Jardin and other handmade products (edible and decorative) that you can bring to your loved ones.

Martín Fierro Bookstore Café (café, bookstore, gallery)
If you love to be surrounded by books in a quiet atmosphere and decorated with birds you must visit this place. In this café, bookstore and gallery you will find a great choice of updated books that you can purchase and you can enjoy a meeting with a friend while enjoying an excellent cup of coffee while playing chess. Their temporary gallery changes every month, you can stop by to see their photo exhibits.
You can borrow a chess set to entertain yourself.
Enjoy the afternoons and evenings at the main square
Afternoons in Jardin are the perfect time to get inspired over a cup of coffee in the plaza surrounded by colorful chairs and tables. Jardineños love to go out for coffee and watch people pass by, make friends and stop to observe the beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains. In the evenings, on weekends the locals usually go out to have a drink and sometimes go out to rumba in one of the discos. The spectacle of the men and women who go out on horseback is something very representative of Jardín.
